Clay House

Edgecliff, NSW

This Alterations and Additions to a terrace in Woollahra is a true showcase of clay materiality, designed for the owners of a brick and tile company. Integral to this project is the use of arched clay tile ‘bovedillas’ which form the permanent formwork of the concrete floor and roof slabs, allowing for a reduction of concrete thickness and providing a beautifully exposed clay finish to the ceiling soffits.
